Ryder Cup Final Recap: A Spectacular Finish and a Worthy Winning Business!
With a year’s 12 month corporate membership on the line, the pressure couldn’t have been higher, yet both finalists, Trade Glaze and APSS, arrived in fantastic spirits. The sportsmanship on display from the moment they walked through the door, right through to the final putt, was exactly what this tournament is all about.
A Match of Pure Team Golf
What made the final truly special was the level of golf on show from every single player. No one was carried. No team relied on a single hero. It was a showcase of balanced, consistent, team-first golf, and it made for one of the most exciting finals we’ve ever had.
The battle stayed tight all the way through, shot for shot, hole for hole, with neither side giving an inch.
The Turning Point: Hole 17
Everything changed on the 17th. Trade Glaze delivered a massive blow with a clutch birdie, and then doubled down with another birdie on the 18th. Meanwhile, the APSS players had a chance to keep it level with a 10-foot birdie putt on 17… but agonisingly, every attempt just slipped by. In a match this close, moments like that are decisive — and Trade Glaze capitalised brilliantly.
The Final Hole Drama
Trade Glaze finished their round a hole ahead and showed tremendous respect, heading to the range to wait — fully expecting APSS to produce something magical. And it almost happened. APSS launched an absolute missile down the middle of the final fairway, leaving just 90 yards for a potential eagle to tie things up. The room held its breath… but the final approach just didn’t find perfection, sealing the victory for Trade Glaze.

A huge congratulations to Trade Glaze, our 2025 Ryder Cup Champions! Their composure, teamwork, and clutch finishing under pressure earned them the crown fair and square. But equal credit must go to APSS, who were rock solid all tournament long and pushed this final right to the wire. Both teams represented their organisations brilliantly.
